After its debut in 2022, the Republic of Cameroon returns to the spotlight at the 60th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, with the project "Nemo propheta in patria," which invites 5 Cameroonian artists and 8 international artists from Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Colombia, and China.

Among the official collateral events of the 60th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, is the comprehensive exhibition and research project of the Mexican artist Betsabeé Romero, entitled The Endless Spiral, organized by the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) from Long Beach. CA and curated by Argentine Gabriela Urtiaga, art historian and researcher, Chief Curator at MOLAA.

In its third edition, the Biennale della Fotografia Femminile of Mantua (BFFmantova) will open its doors on 8 March 2024, reaffirming its status as a unique event. For over a month, the Lombard town will transform into an international showcase for established artists whose fame is sometimes little known in our country.

Giovedì 14 dicembre 2023, alle ore 18:30, apre i battenti a Roma in via Appia Antica al numero 63, la Galleria Del Bufalo di Dario e Giano Del Bufalo.

Lunedì 18 dicembre 2023 alle ore 17:30, verrà presentato presso la Cappella dei Condannati del Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant’Angelo in Roma, il Volume Carl’Antonio Grue (1655-1723). Capolavori della maiolica barocca castellana dalle collezioni pubbliche abruzzesi.

Il Center for Italian Modern Art (CIMA) ha inaugurato la mostra Transatlantic Bridges: Corrado Cagli, 1938-1948, dedicata all'artista ebreo italiano Corrado Cagli (1910-1976). La mostra, curata dal professor Raffaele Bedarida dell’università Cooper Union, vuol far luce sull'affascinante viaggio umano ed intellettuale intrapreso da Cagli durante gli anni trascorsi negli Stati Uniti, tra il 1938 ed il 1948, approfondendo gli aspetti della vita di Cagli durante gli anni ’30, quando fu costretto a lasciare il suo paese natale per sfuggire alla censura e alla persecuzione.

Dopo l’esposizione “L’Italia di Magnum. Da Robert Capa a Paolo Pellegrin”, che si è chiusa lo scorso febbraio, Palazzo Vescovile di Portogruaro si prepara ad ospitare una nuova ed importante mostra: “La dogaressa tra storia e mito. Venezianità al femminile dal Medioevo al Novecento”, che resterà aperta al pubblico dal 16 dicembre 2023 al 19 maggio 2024.
